What is the turnaround time for my images?

  • REAL ESTATE: 24 to 48 hours

  • LIFESTYLE: 2 to 3 weeks, unless otherwise agreed upon (times may vary depending on requirements)

How many images will I receive?

  • REAL ESTATE: Approximately 25 high-resolution digital images. We are committed to taking as many images as it takes to beautifully capture the space, based on the square footage of the property.

  • LIFESTYLE: Approximately 30 to 40 high-resolution digital images, depending on the flow of the day, and the amount of events and activities that should be captured. 

  • HEADSHOT: Approximately 7 to 10 high-resolution digital images in the popular package, and 2 to 3 in the petite package.

How will I receive my photos?

  • REAL ESTATE: Within 24-48 hours of the shoot, you will receive an email with links to download high resolution images appropriate for top-quality prints, and another resolution for use on the MLS.

  • LIFESTYLE: Within 2 to 3 weeks, unless otherwise agreed upon. You will receive a gallery of high resolution images from your session that are available for you to download.

Do I own the rights to my photos?

  • REAL ESTATE: We retain the copyrights as is standard practice in the photography industry. You purchase a single use, non-transferable, non-exclusive image license. Please click here to read our full Copyright and Licensing Notice.

  • LIFESTYLE: Great news! You get to use your photos in any reasonable personal way that you want (including, but not limited to, printing, copying, emailing, web publishing, and social media), as long as you don’t use them in such a way that results in financial gain (including, but not limited to, advertising, stock photography, print sale profits, or resale of any nature). What rights do I have to my digital photos?

May I use real estate listing photos of a property that was previously sold by another agent?

Do you do HDR Photography?

  • REAL ESTATE: Yes! Every photo we deliver is a blend of three exposures and edited in High Dynamic Range. The results are clear and sharp photos.

  • LIFESTYLE: No way! And without getting technical, you wouldn’t want us to!

How long will it take to photograph my property?

  • The amount of time required to properly photograph a home or commercial building can vary greatly.  The biggest factor is the size of the property.  As a general guideline plan on about 1 hour.  But many large homes and commercial or retail buildings can take longer for photography.  When you book your appointment, please let us know the size of the property so we can better prepare our time.

How can I help prepare my client's (or my) home for a real estate photo shoot?

  • The neater and cleaner your home or business is, the better it will photograph.  Always start with a good cleaning. And remember — less is more when it comes to capturing your space!

Do you deliver every image that you shoot?

  • Nope, and you wouldn’t want us to. We want you to be absolutely thrilled with the photos that you receive. That means we only give you the very best of the lot, and don’t bother you with anything less. Your time is valuable, so sit back and let us do the work for you. And rest assured that anything unflattering will be immediately deleted.

What is your cancellation policy?

  • REAL ESTATE: We kindly ask for 24 hours notice if you need to change or reschedule your appointment. However, we understand that unforeseen situations arise when listing a property, so please let us know if the situation is beyond your control.

  • LIFESTYLE: We’d be so sad to see you go, but we understand that plans change, so Abby Blossom Photography offers a three-day grace period to exit our contract from the date of signing. After that, you may cancel with us in writing 14 days prior to the date of your shoot. You may also reschedule your shoot within 72 hours. If you cancel within the 14 day period or we cannot accommodate your new date, your deposit stays with us.

What forms of payment do you accept?

  • We accept checks, Venmo, cash, Paypal & all major credit cards.

What if I lose my images from our session?

  • Oh, you won’t because you will love them so much that you will immediately download them! But, if the unthinkable happens, we have them saved for you for six months after your session date. After six months, they will be permanently deleted.

What happens if the weather is bad?

  • If there are minor weather incidents, we’ll make it work. If we’re talking Acts of God that prevent your shoot from happening, we will refund any money that you’ve paid, less expenses or we can agree upon a new date.

What should I wear?

  • Everyone looks great in simple, classic, clothing. Avoid trends that will date your photos. Business attire or casual elegant ensembles are best for headshots. Above all else, wear something that you feel fantastic in and your confidence will shine through in your pictures.

Do you provide hair and makeup services?

  • Stick with your glam squad to prepare you for the shoot, and we’ll take care of the rest! If you’re looking for a recommendation, we work closely with an amazing team of talented artists to whom we can refer you.

Can you recommend locations?

  • Of course! We know the Treasure Valley area like the back of our hands, because we are proud locals.

Do you charge for travel?

  • Ooo—we love to travel! Let’s talk about it!

Are you insured?

  • Yes! Fully covered!
